12.0 m Bison Bridge installation in Rutland
Rutland (the smallest county in England) had space for a 12.0 m Bison bridge, to provide safe access to a glamping site beyond a watercourse.
The Douglas Fir parapets specified for this timber foot bridge provide an aesthetically pleasing look, to blend with the surroundings. Deck boards are supplied with a dual non-slip infill strip in each board, providing a sure surface in all weather conditions.
As with all Bison bridges, this bridge has hot-dipped galvanised steel structural beams, considerably outlasting timber beams which results in a lower cost over the life of the bridge.
Specification for this bridge:
- 12.0m galvanised steel beam structure
- 1200mm width non-slip timber deck boards
- Douglas Fir timber parapets
