FAQ

Bison Graphic

Simple. Tough. Durable.

Are there options to change the aesthetics of a Bison Bridge?

Materials used for Bison Bridges are well suited to rural and urban locations. However, should you have a particular requirement to change the appearance of a bridge, eg working in an SSSI location, we're willing to discuss options.

Newly galvanised steel beams will dull in appearance when exposed to the environment, blending in to the surroundings. However, steel beams are also available with a powder coated finish (or painted), to your chosen colour.

Please discuss your requirements with the sales team, on 01530 242 405

Yes, the timber we purchase is from FSC accredited sources

Should I have Plastic or Timber?

Recycled Plastic Bison bridges are popular, due to a longer service life and being a product with a manufacturing process that uses plastic bottles and other used plastic goods. It's also worth noting there is no risk of chemical leaching from preservatives as they are not used with recycled plastic.

Bison Timber bridges offer a lower cost option and are prefered by some clients in providing a natural look.

Both options provide a non-slip deck board surface.

What are the delivery options?

Bison Bridge kits are delivered either to customers premises for unload by forklift or direct to site and mechanically unloaded.

We deliver throughout the UK.
