Bison Bridges was commissioned to supply a robust, aesthetically pleasing bridge solution for a golf course in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The brief called for a structure that could support both golf buggies and regular foot traffic, while minimising disruption to play and the adjacent public right of way.

Design & Engineering Approach

To meet the site's logistical and functional demands, our team opted for a steel spliced-beam design. This approach allowed for:

The bridge's structure was topped with natural timber decking with anti-slip strips, chosen for safety, durability, and ability to complement the landscaped setting.
