Chesterton, Warks Footbridge replacement

Our install team have replaced a failed timber footbridge in Chesterton; a small village of Warwickshire (famous for it's stone windmill, built in 1633!)

This 8mtr Bison bridge has been specified to provide a long term maintenance free solution, sympathetic with the surrounding landscape.

As with all Bison bridges, long life galvanised steel beams have been used, providing considerably greater life than traditional timber beams that are susceptible to decay based on the proximity to water.

Our client requested brown recycled plastic deck boards for this bridge - a product that is naturally none-slip, stands up to all weather conditions and requires no maintenance.

The parapet and hand rail is constructed from Douglas fir.
